In
today’s fast paced business climate, business
owners, customers, bankers, investors, and the general
public are seeking assurances that the financial information
they receive is accurate, complete, and timely.
There
are multiple levels of assurance available depending
on the industry, customer, and the need.
We
have been performing audits of financial statements
for over 24 years. We can perform financial statement
audits, specialty audits for fraud, and audits of employee
benefit plans.
At
DVC, we can help our clients decide the level of assurance
that is required for their circumstances. The following
are just some of the assurance services that we can
provide our clients:
Financial
Statement Audits
An
audit includes examining, on a test basis, evidence
supporting the amounts and disclosures in your financial
statements. Audits are generally needed to satisfy a
third party request; a bank, bonding agent or someone
else, for assurance. Whatever the reason you are looking
for an audited financial statement, Dolinka, VanNoord
and Company will use its knowledge and experience to
satisfy your audit needs and keep your business moving
towards achieving its goals.
Not-for-Profit Audits
Not-for-profit
organizations often voluntarily submit to an audit of
their financial records to provide assurance to potential
donors and granting agencies of their financial stewardship
and accountability. Organizations that receive over
$250,000 in annual charitable gifts from the general
public must have an audit to satisfy State requirements
to maintain their license to solicit charitable contributions.
Dolinka, VanNoord and Company will work with your organization
to help you achieve your organizations charitable goals.
Governmental Single Audits and
“Yellow Book” Audits
Governmental
Agencies and Not-for-profit organizations receiving
$500,000 or more in federal financial assistance are
required to have their audits performed in accordance
with Governmental Auditing Standards, the “Yellow
Book,” which requires additional auditing procedures
beyond normal audits. Dolinka, VanNoord and Company
can help you determine the nature and extent of the
additional audit requirements.
Employee Benefit Plan Audits
Employee
Benefit Plan Audits require special expertise. These
audits must be performed in accordance with specific
industry standards, IRS and Department of Labor compliance
regulations. Generally, plans with 100 or more eligible
participants at the beginning of the plan year are required
to have an annual audit. The Dolinka, VanNoord and Company
audit team is experienced and knowledgeable in the particulars
of these audit requirements. Please contact us if you
think your Plan may need an audit.
Specialty Audits/Nontraditional
Engagements
We
can provide several special services in the area of
auditing and accounting. We can perform an audit, review
or compilation of a specific element of the financial
statements or special purpose presentations. We can
perform other specific agreed upon procedures, reports
on internal control, compliance or non-financial information.
Contact us to find out how we can provide the specific
service you are looking for.
